Hazel Green, AL (WAFF) - Residents and business owners took advantage of Monday's sunny weather to clean up and make repairs from Friday's tornado damage.

Rhonda Moore owns Farmers Insurance Group on Highway 231-431. Despite extensive roof damage to her office, it is work as usual.

On Monday, agents filed claims and handled business from their vehicles in the parking lot.

Moore and her son Mark were at work Friday when the tornado hit.

She said they were watching WAFF48 news when the tornado warning was issued.

Mark used his cell phone to video the twister before they had to dive for cover.

'We could hear it waited till the last minute ran in and hunkered down. Started praying as quick as it ripped my roof off it was over you could tell it had gone,' said Rhonda Moore.

Moore says if you need to file a claim, come by their office. Agents are outside waiting to assist you.

Moore doesn't know yet if the building is a total loss or if it can be salvaged.
